Every seal made with TireJect is 100% permanent and will never leak from the repaired location again. TireJect Tire Sealant will continue to prevent flat tires in most off-road applications for 12-24 months depending on usage and environmental factors. Please see life span estimates for different vehicle types below:
Faster off-road vehicles (ATV, SxS) - will prevent flat tires for up to 12 months. If the vehicle is used more frequently the tire sealant life span will decrease. Tires can be reapplicated up to 3 times to continue preventing flats each year/season.
Slower off-road equipment (Lawnmower, Tractor, Skidsteer, handcart, golf-cart) - will get up to 24 months of flat tire protection. If the vehicle is used more frequently the tire sealant life span will decrease. Tires can be reapplicated up to 3 times to continue preventing flats each year/season.
*For slower equipment like lawnmowers and tractors you can extend the life span by increasing the dosage amount. We do not recommend doing this on faster vehicles like ATVs because you will have tire balance issues.
Highway speed vehicles - will fix existing flat tires caused by bead leaks and tread punctures up to 1/4". We do not recommend installing TireJect as a preventative in on-road highway speed vehicles. The higher heat of the tires caused by highway speeds will cure the tire sealant much faster and should not be used to prevent flats.
Storage conditions and climate are additional factors to the life span of TireJect while inside your tires - the hotter it is the faster TireJect will cure and you will need to re-dose your tires to continue preventing flat tires.
**Please note these are estimates and lifespan of the tire sealant inside your tires depends on many factors like temperature, storage conditions, dosage amount, speed and frequency of use.
